Women's match against UW-Oshkosh

Yesterday the Women's tennis team headed to Oshkosh, WI to take on the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. This has certainly been a crazy last couple weeks filled with a lot of matches and it showed as the women looked match tough during their competition.

In Doubles the Lady 'Hawks started off strong at 1 doubles going up an early break and never relinquishing it winning 8-1. The Lady 'Hawk team at 2 doubles had quite a different story on their hand. They traded service holds with their counterparts from Oshkosh until they began to move around the court a little better and eventually took the match 8-4. At 3 doubles Kelly Foster and Lauren Aguilar jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead, but their opponents continued to fight. Foster and Aguilar were able to withstand the Titan push and took the match 8-4 to give the Lady 'Hawks the 3-0 lead heading into singles.

The Lady 'Hawks really stepped up their games in the singles matches. No Lady 'Hawk gave up more than 2 games in any individual set. At the 1 through 4 singles spots the Lady 'Hawks gave up a totla of 6 games. The 5 and 6 singles spots saw the Lady 'Hawks win a pair of 6-1, 6-2 matches. Exhibition singles was the same story as all 4 Lady 'Hawks took their matches in quick fashion. Here are some pictures from the matches.
